Edited 2 weeks agoI have been meaning to try this spot out since they have so many good reviews. I ordered the loaded baked potato with brisket and wow it is so good!! They give you generous portions, the price is fair, and the people working there were very friendly. Even though my initial experience was good when I wrote this review the negative part was the food made me really sick and I kept having to run to the bathroom at least 5 times after I ate this baked potato with brisket. After how sick it made me I won’t be going back again. I really wanted to like this place but I can’t risk getting sick like that again their food really upset my stomach.

3 months agoThe ribs were hard and didn’t have as much meat and the sides were small for a $20 plate. I think for $20 they could be a little more generous with the portions. The chopped beef sandwich was decent.

4 months agoThis is the 2nd time I’ve gotten GOOD BBQ in TEXAS. While everything was good, it was only 2nd best to the other phenomenal bbq I’ve had here, so I couldn’t give it 5 stars but this food is really good. I got the 3 meat plate w/double brisket, rib tips, potato salad and baked beans. The potato salad isn’t like I typically like it but I still liked it. Also, the bbq sauce had a little kick to it. I feel the portion size was generous as well. I shared with my 10 yr old and we had plenty left over, enough for one of us to have another meal today. Overall, I would definitely order again! I ordered via DoorDash so I’m not sure how the actual restaurant is, my review is solely for the food.

4 months agoLove the barbecue smoked chicken is killer the grilled cheese brisket sandwiches is to die, ribs and brisket are on point all the sides are good as well. I am glad this place is close to my home.

8 months agoI drove from Burleson to the SW side of Ft Worth to try this. I'm not impressed. Loaded Bake Potato looked nothing like the loaded ones in the pictures posted. It barely had any meat. My husband got the 3 meat. RIBS & Brisket had food flavor could have been smoked little more. The sides mac n Cheese tate like flour as if the mixture wasn't mixed well enough. The beans taste like over cooked mushy Bush bake beans. The BBQ sauce is way to vinegary . To some $40 is not a lot , but when the food is mediocre 😕 Yeah I don't think il he back. 1st & Last.

8 months agoOur new BBQ place! They are only open on Thursdays and Fridays so we have to plan better! My husband is very picky about his barbecue…..doesn’t like it too sweet or too smoky……theirs is just right!! We are working our way through their menu….nice assortment of options! Also very customer friendly by giving you a buzzer for when your order is ready. I highly recommend!

Edited 2 months agoThis place deserves all the 5-star ratings given by previous customers! Their brisket and ribs are tender, juicy, and full of flavor! Service was great as the nice lady who takes the order is very friendly and warm. She took the time to describe the menu to us. Mac 'n cheese, baked beans, and the brisket sandwich are so delicious! Ambiance is not the greatest, but it does not matter a whole lot because the food and service are superb! I am visiting from California and have been to big and small barbecue restaurants, and even backyard barbecues. Ds has the best tasting and tender brisket I have ever had! When the nice couple are not serving excellent barbecue on Thursdays and Fridays, I learned that they are spending time in healthcare! Just amazing food and great owners! Come to Ds and you will enjoy everything! I was unable to take photos of their food because everything smelled so good, I could not resist! I do not want to post sloppy photos, so maybe next time when I come back! 4/17/26 Update Once again, D's does not disappoint! Their brisket is tender, juicy, and hands delicious! This place is all I was thinking about during our flight from Los Angeles to Dallas this morning! Great food, warm and friendly people, I can't ask for anything more!

Edited 2 years agoMy chopped brisket sandwich was delicious! Prompt service, reasonable prices with flavorful food. Hey, they’ve got a friend in me! Update : I came again and ordered a 3 meat plate. Sooo good, the Mac & cheese is amazing. Ribs were flavorful, the sausage was 10/10, and of course the brisket is off the chain!
